The MongolZ finish Stage 3 opening day with a win over Liquid
After a disappointing start to the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 campaign, The MongolZ finally got themselves on the board as they dispatched Liquid with ease in the 0-1 pool game to end their Stage 3 opening day with a much needed win.
A quick B hit got Liquid's T side going with a solid pistol that saw siuhy and co. go 5-0 up before a bLitz double opener in middle saw The MongolZ get on the board. Five though was all that Liquid could manage as The MongolZ closed the half on the back of seven consecutive rounds, shutting down every single Liquid attack to take a two-round lead.
mzinho and Senzu made sure The MongolZ tied up the pistols on Ancient with a clean A hit and Liquid had absolutely no answer to The MongolZ once they brought out the guns as bLitz and his boys wrapped up Ancient with commanding 13-7 win. The MongolZ wrap up their opening day at Stage 3 by moving to the 1-1 pool while Liquid are in a lot of trouble as they drop to the 0-2 pool and are one loss away from elimination.
