s1mple and FaZe turned out to be too hot to handle for The MongolZ as FaZe booked their place at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Playoffs over Asia's best team. In the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 2-1 bracket game, it was s1mple showcasing some of his old form to help FaZe take down The MongolZ 2-0 and make it to the top 8.

A clean B hit saw The MongolZ start Ancient with the opening pistol on their T side and a strong T side from the Asian side go 7-1 before ending the opening half with a four round lead. FaZe picked up a crucial pistol and conversions to bring it to a one-round game at 7-8. Three on the trot from The MongolZ threatened a to runaway before s1mple woke up to come in with crucial clutches and a huge 2v4 from himself and frozen see FaZe close out the map with six in a row to steal a 13-11 comeback and despite the young mzinho's 23-kill performance, FaZe drew first blood.

FaZe's pick of Anubis was the s1mple-rain show to get things going as FaZe raced away to a 10-2 lead before closing out the series with a 13-4 win to lock in a 2-0 and move into the Playoffs. The MongolZ now drop into the 2-2 bracket and will have one final chance to make the Playoffs.
