Resilient MOUZ fightback to eliminate reigning Major champions

An incredible and spirited comeback on Nuke saw MOUZ take down defending Major champions Spirit, eliminating chopper and co. in the quarter-finals of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

The first quarter-final kicked off on MOUZ's pick of Mirage which was a barn burner as MOUZ dropped advantage after advantage, losing multiple man-advantage situations to see Spirit push it to four overtimes and it was two crucial 1v2s from zont1x at the end of the first overtime and to close the map that got the deal done. Spirit stole Mirage 25-21 with donk at the top of the scoreboard in the server with 37 kills.

Dust2 saw MOUZ immediately rectify their mistakes as they started with a solid defensive half, taking a four-round lead and despite some late hiccups, MOUZ managed to tie up the series after a 13-9 win. The decider headed to Nuke where a nightmare start from xertioN and MOUZ's captain Brollan saw them go 4-8 against a hot starting Spirit. A crucial second half pistol saw MOUZ build their comeback as Spinx and torzsi led the charge which saw MOUZ lock in Nuke 13-10 to reverse sweep the series 2-1 and move into the semi-finals of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
