
The MongolZ host fan event; announce academy roster
After an impressive campaign at the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major, The MongolZ received a grand welcome back home in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The MongolZ one-upped their showing at Shanghai where they marked Asian Counter-Strike's first playoffs appearance at a Major, by making a deeper run in Austin.
After taking down a star-studded FaZe, The MongolZ breezed past paIN into the grand-final where they took a map off of Vitality but conceded the series. Nevertheless, The MongolZ made history by becoming the first Asian team to play in a Major grand-final.
At Steppe Arena in Ulaanbaatar, The MongolZ organized a fan event where over 3,000 people gathered to celebrate the success and cultural impact of Mongolian Counter-Strike. The event had live music, player signing sessions, interviews and a couple of showmatches. The MongolZ also announced their official academy roster at the event supposedly the next big thing in Mongolian Counter-Strike.
A player gear auction was held at the fan event where the proceedings were pledged to charity towards a children's hospital. The newly announced academy roster took on the main The MongolZ roster in one of the showmatches. The showmatch saw team Senzu take on team mzinho, two of the youngest players in The MongolZ.
