Community reacts to the new Souvenir charms

Yesterday, Valve released the Souvenir Charms, which featured highlights from the day along with the Major Champions capsule. However, the turnout for them hasn’t been as positive as they might have hoped.

According to Complexity’s GM, Graham "messioso" Pitt, a total of 492 clips from 398 rounds of gameplay were used for the highlights contained in the charms. Due to the sheer volume, the overall quality of the clips have suffered drastically. As a result, many of them are, as described by messioso "worthless" and "incorrect."

It wasn’t just messioso who was disappointed. Both s1mple and w0nderful satirically mocked the clips chosen for them. s1mple mockingly asked Valve to rename his clip to “what you see is what you get,” while w0nderful sarcastically thanked Valve for a random clip of him dying after walking through a smoke, calling it as his “best highlight.”
