Overpass added back to Active Duty pool
After a day's downtime, Premier is now open for queuing again. Players with an active CS Rating in the previous season with at least 25 wins have received a commemorative Premier Season 2 badge, indicating their highest achieved rank and number of wins through badge color and fill. With the start of Premier Season 3, Anubis retires from the Active Duty pool, bringing back Overpass which received a bunch of changes and hotfixes during its time on the bench.
Several gameplay changes have come into effect, including the much needed CT incendiary grenade buff. The fire spread upon contact with the ground is now comparatively faster but still no match for its T-side counterpart. "They still suck though", says WarOwl in his before and after comparison video on X. A new trade protection feature has been added to Counter-Strike items allowing players to reverse or revoke trades within seven days. A thirty day lock is enforced upon reversing a trade.
The CT economy received a slight buff, now rewarding shared team bonus for every T-side player eliminated in the round. This gives CTs much more incentive to keep rounds close and hunt down Ts who opt to save. The MP9 gets slightly nerfed with a more volatile spray pattern, reducing its jumping accuracy.
Popular Counter-Strike content creator JoJo already seems to have discovered a CT-side incendiary grenade bug which causes the fire to render throughout the round without actually causing damage.
