TYLOO make Playoffs after win over Astralis
TYLOO became the second Asian team to make the Playoffs at FISSURE Playground 1 after they took down Astralis in the Group C winners' game with JamYoung having a strong series.
After a back and forth start on their pick of Mirage that saw them take a two round lead, Astralis' T side started with a four round streak to see the Danes take the lead. A six round streak from the Chinese squad, putting up a strong defensive hold saw TYLOO take a 13-9 win with JamYoung topping the scoresheets with 23 kills. Astralis and Jabbi hit back strong on their pick of Nuke as an 11-round T side saw them take a 13-8 win, seeing off a late T side comeback attempt. Jabbi's 21 kills was the deciding factor while device stepped up as well with the AWP to see the Danes tie up the series.
Inferno started with a competitive opening half but a toothless T side from HooXi and co. saw a 15 kill CT side from JamYoung have TYLOO close the series with a commanding 13-6 win to lock in a 2-1 series win. TYLOO became the second Asian team to make playoffs at the event after their compatriots Lynn Vision booked their playoffs berth earlier in the day. For Astralis, they now have to face MIBR in the decider game.
