TYLOO makes the Grand Final of a big event for the first time in 7 years

TYLOO are one step away from creating history

TYLOO has locked in the Grand-Final of FISSURE Playground 1, where they will be playing against Astralis in a Bo5 for a lion share of the $1 million prize pool.

This marks one of the most storied achievements for the Chinese organization, which, despite being the best from their region for many years, has struggled to prove itself on the big stage. In their history, which dates back to 2016, TYLOO has reached a major event final only once: at IEM Shanghai 2018, where they fell to NRG, though they did take down Virtus.pro along the way.

They also reached the finals of the IeSF World Championship 2016, where they lost to ENCE, and the ROG Masters 2016 Grand Finals, where they were defeated by Gambit. However, those events were of lesser significance and don’t carry the same prestige as the $1 million FISSURE Playground 1.

If TYLOO wins today, this will turn out to be the biggest win in the history of the org. Even in terms of ranking, even locking the Grand-Final spot is going to take them from #14 to their best ranking yet, beating their #12 rank in 2018.
