Media: Lynn Vision decline BLAST Rising Asia invite

The Chinese side are yet to confirm their withdrawal

Update 28/07/2025, 14:55 IST: Lynn Vision declining the BLAST Rising Asia invite has been confirmed by the organization. Lynn Vision stated that their player z4kr sustained a wrist injury, rendering him out of action temporarily. The org clarified that medical advice has recommended a two-week rest period for the rifler, with treatment sessions scheduled every 2-3 days. During this recovery window, z4kr has been advised to minimize gaming activity to ensure proper healing, making Lynn Vision's participation in the upcoming tournament unfeasible.

Update 28/07/2025, 14:30 IST: Dust2 India reached out to @OnlyJoshInTV and Lynn Vision for more clarity on the situation. Lynn Vision is yet to provide a statement while @OnlyJoshInTV stated that this information came from an ESN representative from Mongolia. When @OnlyJoshInTV asked the ESN representative if SemperFi received an invite and Lynn Vision declined, the latter confirmed the same. In our conversation with @OnlyJoshInTV, he also mentioned that another prominent figure in the Oceanic Counter-Strike scene claimed that a loss at BLAST Rising would burn a lot of VRS, hinting at Lynn Vision's motive behind declining the invite.

Through a post on X, esports caster @OnlyJoshInTV has reported that Chinese team Lynn Vision have declined their BLAST Rising Asia Season 2 invite. Ranked second in the Asian VRS, Lynn Vision were on the fast track to BLAST Open London 2025 through the BLAST Rising Asia event. While the community suspects visa issues, Lynn Vision are yet to confirm or deny their withdrawal through official channels.

@OnlyJoshInTV claims that SemperFi have been called in to replace the Chinese side for being the next in line in the Asian VRS at the moment.

A couple of days back, ESN, BLAST's Asian partner confirmed through a Facebook post that TYLOO were withdrawing from the event as well, due to visa issues. Having won FISSURE Playground 1 recently, bringing China their first tier 2 Counter-Strike trophy, TYLOO are currently a part of IEM Cologne 2025.

Lynn Vision's most recent game came at FISSURE Playground 1, where they went down in the playoffs against Astralis. Lynn Vision came into FISSURE Playground 1 off of a couple of second place finishes and an ESL Challenger League Season 49: Asia win.
