The MongolZ proceed to semi-finals of EWC 2025 over 3DMAX
The MongolZ have defeated 3DMAX to lock in a semi-final spot at the Esports World Cup 2025 with a 2-1 win. They will now face Vitality in the semi-final.
The series began on Ancient, the pick of 3DMAX, where a strong CT side netted them a lead of 10-2 at halftime. 3DMAX fought valiantly, despite losing the pistol, to bring the score to 12-8, but ended up losing by 8-13.
The second map was Inferno, where despite an even half of 6-6, Ex3rcice's 2.15 rated performance on the T-side emerged to be the difference maker, as 3DMAX turned the tides in the second half to clinch a 13-9 win.
The final map turned out to be Nuke, where a stellar showing from Techno helped The MongolZ establish a 9-3 lead on the T-side, and sealed the deal with the 13-8 win.
