aliStair, SemperFi part ways

Australian AWPer aliStair has announced that he is a Free Agent after parting ways with SemperFi. aliStair had been apart of the SemperFi lineup since March 2025, after departing FlyQuest at the end of last year.

aliStair has been a part of various Australian setups for the past decade, having represented teams such as ASDF, Chiefs, ORDER and Renegades. He spent notable stints at Grayhound and then FlyQuest before moving to SemperFi earlier in 2025. In his post announcing that he is a free agent, aliStair stated that him and the team 'didn't reach our potential and yield the results'.

The Australian sniper has also taken part in 5 Majors till date, two each with Renegades and Grayhound and one with FlyQuest with all of his runs coming to an end in the Challengers/Opening Stage itself. The ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 win for FlyQuest is aliStair's only LAN win till date. aliStair and SemperFi most recently, won the CCT Season 3 Oceania Series 1 as well, taking down Rooster in the final.

After struggling with his personal form towards the end of his FlyQuest stint, aliStair had a slight uptick in performance with SemperFi, putting up a 1.09 rating with the PGL Astana 2025 Oceania Closed Qualifier, where SemperFi finished first to qualify for the Asia Closed Qualifiers, being his highest rated event with the team at 1.21 rating.
