ESIC hands SENZA an interim suspension over account sharing and other allegations

SENZA players won't be able to participate in ESIC member events till the investigation concludes

ESIC has announced an interim suspension on SENZA until their investigation reaches a verdict. This suspension renders the players, coaches, and staff, ineligible to participate in any ESIC member events or any tournament adopting ESIC's integrity program.

This suspension comes after multiple match-fixing and cheating allegations involving their team member byek and others. Later, Dust2 India received a compelling proof supporting the matter, that included betting slips made on SENZA's games.

ESIC outlined the primary points of concern in their investigation. They are:

  • Alleged use of prohibited outside information during competition;

  • Potential betting-related misconduct connected to matches involving the team; and

  • Alleged account-sharing and identity irregularities.

ESIC have currently given the relevant parties a defined response window to provide proofs and information. After the window is closed, ESIC will review the material and release a public statement.
