bLitz leads from the front with a 1.52 rating series

The MongolZ breeze past 9z

9z concede 0-2 series against The MongolZ

In group A's opening match at Thunderpick World Championship 2025, The MongolZ took on 9z. The bo3 started on Dust2 where The MongolZ barely broke a sweat sliding a 9-3 lead on their CT-side. 9z had a chance to get the jump on The MongolZ in the second half's pistol round but a masterful distraction from bLitz let 910 secure a C4 plant on B in a 2v5. bLtiz dropped a quad kill setting the tone for half as The MongolZ closed Dust2 13-3 off of a flawless second half.

The MongolZ got off to a shake start on the T-side of Ancient but Techno and Senzu picked the pace up as The MongolZ recovered from an early 1-5 deficit to steal a marginal 7-5 lead at halftime. 9z attempted to give The MongolZ a taste of their own medicine with early aggression but were instantly shut down. Round after round 9z were caught off guard by The MongolZ's proactive CT-side.

The MongolZ delivered a flawless CT-side on Ancient, closing the map 13-5 with bLitz dawning the secondary AWP towards the end. Senzu topped the charts with 19 frags to his name as 9z head straight down to the lower bracket to face OG and The MongolZ will face FURIA in their upper-final.
