Rare Atom book ECL S50 APAC Cup 3 grand-final

Rare Atom took on Feng Da in the consolidation final of the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 3 after getting knocked down in the upper-final by The Huns. On the opening map, Mirage, Rare Atom got off to a 4-0 start on the CT-side but salmon's 2.33 rating run on the T-side saw Feng Da steal the lead and secure a 7-5 half. The second half started with back and forth trades but Feng Da emerged ahead towards the end, snatching a 13-10 win on Mirage.

The second map took us to where Rare Atom once again got off to a strong start. A 118 ADR showing from Tiger on the T-side powered Rare Atom to a slight 7-5 advantage at halftime. Rare Atom nearly flipped the narrative in the second half off of salmon's plays but Rare Atom recovered just in time and strung up six rounds to close Dust2 13-10 and level the series at 1-1. The decider took us to Inferno and again, it was a 5-0 start from Rare Atom on the T-side. Off of Summer and Malek's frag-fest Rare Atom secured an 8-4 lead in the first half.

Inches away from the match point at 11-5, Rare Atom hit a bit of a snooze, allowing Feng Da to close the gap at 9-11. The p5p-Biuckmt duo pulled Feng Da back into the game, forcing Inferno into overtime. Dropping just the first round in overtime, Rare Atom went berserk, securing a 16-13 win on Inferno, eliminating Feng Da from the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 3. Rare Atom have set up a rematch against The Huns in the grand-final.
