
s1mple, electroNic now 1 win away from Indian LAN appearance
The European qualifier for Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship's Counter-Strike 2 event is set to conclude today, finalizing the two European entries for the Indian LAN. Among the frontrunners are BC.Game, flaunting the iconic s1mple-electroNic duo. BC.Game will take on BIG in the semi-final which serves as the qualification match. On the other side of the bracket Mousquetaires take on MOLO. Lets take a quick look at how these teams have performed so far in the single-elimination open qualifier.

BC.Game
BC.Game started their CEGC CS2 European qualifier campaign against QUAZAR where electroNic debuted for the team, reuniting with his NAVI teammate s1mple. BC.Game crushed QUAZAR 10-2 in the first half of Mirage with aNdu posting a 2.55 rating half. In his BC.Game debut, electroNic put up a HLTV rating of 1.54, netting his team a 13-6 win. Their next game against NOVAQ saw the latter push s1mple and co. to their limits. The first map went to overtime where BC.Game closed Inferno 16-13 with electroNic topping the charts once again.
BC.Game fumbled a big 8-4 lead on the T-side of Mirage as NOVAQ recovered and pushed the map into overtime. After hanging on in the first overtime, NOVAQ enforced a second overtime where they dropped just a single round and closed the map 19-16, levelling the series at 1-1. Things looked solid for BC.Game on the decider, Dust2 as s1mple and electroNic went berserk to secure a 10-2 lead for their team. NOVAQ's tasman and pump one-upped the duo dropping 111 ADR each to close the gap but BC.Game closed the map by the skin of their teeth, 13-11 to secure a 2-1 series win and set up their qualification match against BIG. BC.Game and NOVAQ won a combined total of three CT-side rounds in the final map, Dust2.

BIG
BIG were handed a free win off of their opponent's no-show in the opening round as the German side took on AM in their second round matchup. Another dominant T-side showing on Dust2 set AM up with a 10-2 lead at halftime. Altekz and 2high dropped 10 frags a piece in the first half with the former boasting an impressive +14.42% Swing. BIG tried to reel their way out of a crushing 2-10 deficit with pistol, anti-eco and bonus conversions on their T-side but AM recovered just in time to halt the Germans and secure Dust2 13-8.
gr1ks and tabseN powered BIG's recovery on Inferno after conceding the initial few rounds on the T-side, netting a solid 8-4 lead. Dropping just a couple of rounds in the second half, BIG closed Inferno 13-6, levelling the series at 1-1. gr1ks was the star of the show on Inferno, delivering a 1.99 rating showing at an ADR of 116. BIG took full advantage of Overpass's CT-sidedness, pushing AM down to a 3-9 disadvantage. Going 21-13 at an ADR of 113, tabseN led from the front as BIG took Overpass 13-8, winning the series 2-1. BIG will face BC.Game in their qualification game.

Mousquetaires
Mousquetaires started their tournament with a grueling French derby in the opening round. The bo1 took us to Nuke where GenOne thrashed Mousquetaires in the first half, pushing them down to 2-10. JACKZ and drac stepped up as Mousquetaires pulled off an unthinkable comeback, pushing the game into overtime. Mousquetaires secured a narrow 19-17 win in the second overtime as GenOne fumbled a massive 10-2 lead and ended their open qualifier run in the first round. They took on FUT in the second round and conceded a crushing 3-13 defeat in the opening map.
JACKZ and SIXER put up 18 frags a piece in the second map, Ancient as Mousquetaires returned the favor and secured a 13-4 win in the second map, levelling the series at 1-1. The decider took us to Dust2 where the teams split the first half 6-6. There was no real momentum buildup from either sides as Mousquetaires emerged ahead in shaky back and forth trades, securing Dust2 13-11 and the series 2-1, booking their semi-final appearance against MOLO.

MOLO
MOLO sent the new Eternal Fire roster home in their opening game on Nuke. After securing a slight 7-5 advantage on the CT-side, MOLO stepped on the gas and blitzed through their T-side, dropping just a couple of rounds to win Nuke 13-7. njuKI and klyrO dropped 17 frags each with the former exceeding the 100 ADR mark. MOLO continued their Nuke dominance, taking the first map off of AaB's hands in their second round game. zakarinh0 put up a 122 ADR CT-side with a rating of 2.27 as MOLO secured a 13-9 win on Nuke.
AaB turned the tables on Overpass handing MOLO a 3-13 loss off of BehinDx's 2.52 rating showing with a Swing of +21.68%. In the decider, MOLO secured a slight 7-5 advantage at halftime on Mirage and then put up a flawless 6-0 CT-side to win the map 13-5 and the series 2-1, moving forward to the semi-final where they face Mousquetaires for a spot at Skyesports Chennai Esports Global Championship 2025's Counter-Strike 2 LAN.

The s1mple-electroNic duo will be back in action later today against BIG as BC.Game stand just a single win away from a Skyesports CEGC 2025 CS2 LAN spot, recording the legendary duo's first ever competitive appearance on Indian soil.
