Marek takes kaze's spot on the main roster

Rare Atom takes stage at Budapest Major with Marek

Marek was signed as an assistant coach

Last month, Rare Atom announced that their AWPer kaze, would transition into a coaching role while still being a part of the starting five. However, at the Budapest Major, Rare Atom's assistant coach Marek takes stage as a part of the main roster. Marek dawned Rare Atom colors a while back when signed as the assistant coach and the 32 year-old now becomes the first every Taiwanese Counter-Strike player at a Major.

Rare Atom are taking on Imperial in their opening match of the first stage of StarLadder Budapest 2025. A live broadcast of the game is currently running on StarLadder's secondary Twitch stream- StarLadder 2.

The move was pretty much on the cards but was confirmed when Rare Atom's official handle posted on Chinese social media platform Bilibili last week, listing Marek under the main roster alongside SUMMER, ChildKing, TiGeR and L1haNg while kaze was listed as the assistant coach.
