StarLadder Budapest 2025 Stage 3: Preview

Stage 3 of StarLadder Budapest 2025 Major kicks off tomorrow at 05:30PM IST with The MongolZ taking on Imperial in the opening match alongside the MOUZ-PARIVISION clash. Imperial cleared Stage 2 with a near-flawless 3-1, losing only to NAVI in the 1-1 pool. NAVI who went on to clear Stage 2 with a 3-0, will face FURIA in their opening match. The opening round's play ends with Falcons taking B8. After a flawless Stage 2 run, FaZe will take on Vitality in the opening round as ropz faces his former team.

The third stage of the Budapest Major will serve as the final group stage, running the Swiss system iteration to filter out the upper-half. Teams with three wins advance to the eight-team single-elimination playoffs while teams with three losses end their Major journey. StarLadder Budapest 2025 will also be the first ever Counter-Strike Major to host a best-of-five grand-final.

The MongolZ are set to take stage without their star player Senzu. In his stead is 28-year old controlez who has been around the Mongolian scene for quite a while. Upon Senzu's benching, The MongolZ immediately snatched controlez from Chinggis Warriors and so far the Mongolian rifler has exceeded expectations.
