Sources: Second 2026 Major to be held in Singapore
Is a Major finally coming to SEA?
A leaked source code from the PGL website has hinted that the second Major of 2026 could be held in Singapore. While still unconfirmed, if true, it would mark the first Major to take place in Southeast Asia.
The last Major held in Asia was the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, , meaning this would be the second Asian Major and the first in the region after a two-year gap.The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, where donk carried Spirit to their first Major win, was an immense success. The Major peaked at around 1.33 million concurrent viewers.
The first Major of 2026, the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, had been announced earlier this year. The second Major of the year is scheduled to take place in November.
