CS2 awarded the Best Esports Game at The Game Awards 2025

After a phenomenal year, stacked with multiple Tier-1 tournaments, CS2 has been awarded as the Best Esports Game by The Game Awards. 2025 has been a stellar year for CS2, with Valve also taking a stride in improving tournament standards and gaming experience.

Another key highlight in the world of CS2 was Vitality winning the Best Esports Team Awards at The Game Awards of 2025, out of nominees consisting of Gen.G, Falcons, NRG, and Liquid. Vitality has had a remarkable year, quite possibly the best year any Counter-Strike team has had so far.

Vitality has secured a total of eight titles in this year so far, and made finals in another two. They won the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 title, IEM Katowice 2025, the Grand Slam, and are in the finals of the final major of the year, the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.
