Unstoppable Vitality sweep Spirit to make StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Grand Final
Vitality have made the back-to-back Major Grand Finals after taking down Spirit in the semi-final of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. On a quest to become the first team since Astralis to win consecutive Majors, Vitality have hit top gear at the right time as they denied donk and co. any shots of getting close to the Major trophy with Vitality showing reslience in the opening map of the semi-final before a stellar T side ran through and sent Spirit packing from the Major.
A donk triple on the pistol saw Spirit start Vitality's pick of Mirage with five CT rounds on the trot before ropz and mezii turned around a 3v5 to get Vitality's first on the board. Vitality salvaged the half with four T rounds before a sh1ro 1v1 against mezii saw Spirit lock in both pistols and race away to a 12-6 score line in no time. Vitality fought back against six map points with ZywOo finding rhythm and after pushing it to overtime big clutches from mezii, apEX and ropz saw Vitality steal a 19-17 win. mezii and ropz topped the scoreboard with 32 and 31 kills respectively to see Vitality lock in their map pick.

He was slow to get into things on Mirage but ZywOo was immediately on the mark on Dust2 as the French star started with a big triple to hand his team the CT pistol on their opponent's map pick. Spirit got going with tN1R opening up the B site and Spirit hit the B site multiple times to make it a competitive opening half before Vitality found a couple at the very end to tie up the half at 6-6. Spirit evened out the pistols and went on to take the lead before the ZywOo show on the T side saw Vitality ease to a 13-8 win to close out the series in two maps.
Vitality now await the winner of the Natus Vincere (NAVI) and FaZe match to determine their opponent for the final.
