Attacker retires and moves to coaching role at TYLOO
TYLOO have announced that the Chinese CS2 team and YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng have mutually decided that the latter will be stepping away from competitive play with immediate effective as Attacker will move to a coaching role with the team.
The move brings to an end almost a year-long stint for Attacker with the team after he had joined the team back in January, 2025. It's been a rough year for the 28-year old though, as he only managed to put up a 0.92 rating during his time with TYLOO in 2025. Barring a 1.36 rating performance against PARIVISION in TYLOO's opening game at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Stage 2, Attacker had a disappointing Budapest Major, where he went negative in his rating in all of the remaining games for TYLOO. TYLOO finished in 12-14th place at the Budapest Major 2025, going out eventually with a 1-3 record with Attacker finishing as the second lowest rated player with a 0.67 rating with Vexite's 0.55 rating being the only one worse than his.
TYLOO have not announced a replacement for Attacker yet nor have they revealed the nature of role Attacker will take up as a coach with TYLOO as the team already have zhokiNg as their Head Coach. One of the veterans in the Chinese Counter-Strike scene, Attacker had broken into the scene more than a decade ago, in August 2014 with a year long stint with TYLOO itself. Over the course of his career, Attacker has played 6 Majors with five of them being for TYLOO itself. His best LAN result came in 2025 as TYLOO won their first international LAN title at FISSURE Playground 1.
Since then, they has played for various teams including QeeYou, PUZZLES, Wings, Flash and has had multiple stints with TYLOO before returning to the team in January 2025, for what turned out to be his final competitive journey as a player.
With this change, TYLOO becomes:
