$25K LAN announced in Istanbul

IstanbuLAN 2026 is now open for registrations. The event carries a prize pool of $25,000 USD but also requires a registration fee of $500 USD + VAT. The event is set to begin with two days of open qualifiers on 3rd and 4th February 2026. The LAN is scheduled to start on 12th February 2026 and go on for three days before crowning the winner.

The event claims to be a Tier 2 Valve ranked event with seeding based on January 2026's VRS update. The online open qualifiers will take place on FACEIT and will host a maximum of 64 teams in a double-elimination bracket. Sixteen teams will proceed to the LAN stage as per IstanbuL's rulebook. The LAN stage of the event will host a straight forward single-elimination playoffs bracket.
