BEC Season 2 announced

The event is restricted to teams from Japan and Korea

BestFive Elite Competition returns for a second season and registrations for the Counter-Strike tournament are currently. The qualifiers are scheduled to run on 24th and 25th January 2026, sending two teams from Japan and two teams from Korea into the main event.

The qualifier accepts a maximum of 32 teams. The main event will run a single-elimination best-of-three bracket to determine the winner. The main event will take place on 31st January 2026.

While the tournament's official website mentions no direct cash prize, each of the grand-finalists will receive a ZOWIE mouse of their choice from the DW series. Teams finishing in 3rd and 4th place will ZOWIE mousepads of their choice. Teams narrowly missing the main event (3rd-8th in the qualifiers) will receive Counter-Strike 2 weapon skins- M4A1-S | Vaporwave (Field-Tested) and USP-S | Printstream (Field-Tested).
