Vitality was the most watched CS2 team in 2025

2025 was a strong year for Counter-Strike. With an influx of events and increased airtime, Counter-Strike 2 saw a ~35% increase in watch time in 2025, making it the second most popular esports title behind League of Legends. As per an Esports Charts report, Vitality was the most followed Counter-Strike team in 2025, with over 90 million hours of watch time. Vitality had a stellar 2025, starting with a seven-tournament win streak at the highest level and capping off the first season with a Major win at Austin.

Vitality took their time to get back on their feet in the second season but once they did, they looked unstoppable. ZywOo powered Vitality to consecutive Major titles as the French organization ended 2025 with a win at StarLadder Budapest. Trailing Vitality at #2 are Spirit with over 79 million hours of watch time. donk once again turned heads with his mechanics and gave ZywOo tough competition for the Player of the Year title. However, Spirit could not translate their form into Major titles in 2025.
