BLAST Open S1: Asian open qualifiers begin next week

BLAST partners up with GGTV once again to host the Asian side of things for BLAST Open Season 1 2026. YUQILIN POB S2-Thunder Demon will serve as the Asian qualifier bringing one team each from open qualifier across four major Asian regions to the closed qualifier-

• China

• Mongolia

• Oceania

• Rest of Asia

Teams from India can register for the Rest of Asia open qualifier.

The closed qualifier will also feature four invited teams from the Asian VRS alongside teams from the open qualifiers. Registrations for the open qualifiers can be done through the 5E Battle platform by searching for Thunder Demon POB BLAST Asian Qualifiers.

The registrations for open qualifiers closes tomorrow and the qualifiers themself commence on 24th January 2026 and conclude on 1st February 2026. The closed qualifier will also take place online on 6th, 7th and 8th February 2026. The winner of the closed qualifier (BLAST Rising Asia) will advance to BLAST Open Rotterdam. The main event carries a $400,000 USD prize pool and will take begin on 18th March 2026.

Format
