
EWC 2026 titles revealed
Through a post on X, the titles that are set to be a part of the Esports World Cup 2026 have been revealed. Counter-Strike 2 will continue to be a part of the massive circuit. Apart from Rennsport and StarCraft 2 vacating their slots for Trackmania and Fortnite Reload, most of the other titles retain their slots. Esports World Cup 2026 is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 6th July to 23rd August 2026, carrying a massive combined prize pool of $30,000,000 USD.
The Counter-Strike 2 regiment of the Esports World Cup this year carries a prize pool of $2,000,000 USD. The previous edition of the Esports World Cup saw The MongolZ bag their first S-tier win with Techno securing the tournament MVP. Vitality, Falcons and Aurora rounded off the top four with Aurora finishing as the runners up.
The qualifier for Esports World Cup 2026 is currently scheduled for the second week of August 2026. The main event will pick up four teams from open qualifiers and one team from HERO Esports Asian Champions League. Esports World Cup 2026 is set to be the third big LAN after the IEM Cologne 2026 Major following FISSURE Playground and BLAST Bounty.
