SPUNJ's donation boosts Dfrag S1 prize pool

The LAN takes place in Brisbane next month

Renowned Australian caster SPUNJ has come forward with a monetary contribution towards the prize pool of Dfrag Season 1: Wildcard LAN. While the exact contribution isn't mentioned by Dfrag, it is speculated to be around $5,000 AUD given that the organizer had previously announced the tournament's prize pool to be $20,000 AUD and the bumped up prize pool stands at $25,000 AUD.

Dfrag Season 1: Wildcard LAN will be the region's first offline event of the year and will run for four days starting on 12th March 2026. The B-tier wildcard event heads to Brisbane, Australia, hosting eight teams in the group stage. Two double-elimination GSL groups will set the stage for a four-team double-elimination playoffs. While six teams are picked up from Open Series #1, #2 and #3, two teams are handed direct main event invites through the Oceanic VRS.

Series #1,#2 and #3 also follow similar formats. SemperFi and Ground Zero cleared Series #1 while THUNDERdOWNUNDER and Mindfreak qualified from Series #2. Series #3 begins today and two final teams will be announced as per February 2026's VRS update.
