Ravens win BEC Season 2

BestFive Elite Competition Season 2 had come to a close yesterday and it was Ravens who swept the single-elimination bracket. Following the open qualifiers two Japanese teams and two South Korean teams locked in their slots for the four-team single-elimination bracket main event. Ravens took on Ataks in the semi-final and recovered from a map deficit, to send the South Korean team packing.

On the other side of the bracket, Subutai delivered a strong showing against megamega, securing a 2-0 win and a grand-final clash against Ravens. While Ravens put up a clean 2-0 on paper in the grand-final, the win was anything but one-sided. Both maps- Dust2 and Overpass went right down to the wire with the Japanese team bagging narrow 13-11 wins.

While the tournament's official website mentioned no direct cash prize at the time of registrations, each of the grand-finalists are set to receive a ZOWIE mouse of their choice from the DW series. Teams finishing in 3rd and 4th place will receive ZOWIE mousepads of their choice. Teams narrowly missing the main event (3rd-8th in the qualifiers) will receive Counter-Strike 2 weapon skins- M4A1-S | Vaporwave (Field-Tested) and USP-S | Printstream (Field-Tested).
