
The Huns send Lynn Vision packing
PGL Bucharest 2026's East Asia closed qualifier is now just a single game away from completion following today's consolidation final between Lynn Vision and The Huns. The series started on Dust2 with The Huns getting off to a slow, shaky start on the CT-side. Lynn Vision's EmiliaQAQ and Starry led the charge, fetching the Chinese side an 8-4 lead in the first half.
The Huns one-upped Lynn Vision's T-side, putting up eight rounds on the trot, securing match point right out the gate to turn the tables on Lynn Vision. From an 8-4 lead, Lynn Vision were now cornered with their backs against four match points at 8-12. nin9 and sk0R put up ratings of 1.92 (102 ADR) and 1.69 (105 ADR) dragging The Huns back into game. The Huns fumbled a regulation finish as Lynn Vision won four consecutive retakes, pushing Dust2 into overtime.
After round for round trades in the first overtime, The Huns wrapped things up in the second overtime, closing Dust2 19-17 to go 1-0 up in the series. The second map took us to Ancient where The Huns started on the T-side and ended up with a marginal 7-5 lead at halftime. Despite The Huns hitting double figures early, Lynn Vision recovered just in time to close the gap but The Huns emerged ahead in the back and forth trades, securing a 13-11 win on Ancient, wrapping the series 2-0 and advancing to the grand-final of the PGL Bucharest 2026 East Asia closed qualifier where they take on Rare Atom in a best-of-five later today.
