CAC 2026: Rest of Asia open qualifier registrations open

CS Asia Championships 2026's Rest of Asia open qualifier is now open for registrations. The open qualifier is open to all and will host an unlimited single-elimination bracket. The registrations will remain open till Friday, 6th March 2026 and the open qualifier starts on the same day. Initially hosting best-of-one games, the CAC 2026 RoA qualifier switches to best-of-threes for qualification matches. A total of twenty two regions including India are eligible to contest in the Rest of Asia open qualifier.

The top two teams from the open qualifier will advance to the closed qualifier where two teams each from the Chinese, East Asian, Oceanic and Rest of Asian qualifiers are put up against eight other teams invited through the Asian VRS as of February 2026. The closed qualifier will host a double-elimination bracket, sending the top two teams to the main event.

The main event- CS Asia Championships 2026 will run as a LAN in Shanghai, China from 19th to 24th May 2026 with a prize pool of $400,000 USD. The LAN will feature fourteen teams from the Global VRS and two teams from the closed qualifier.
