Senzu's maiden LAN appearance with Passion UA revealed
After The MongolZ announced Senzu's benching in a shocking move last year, The stellar Mongolian rifler was picked up by Passion UA after a couple of inactive months. With the international core, Senzu has played two online events- ESL Pro League Season 23 and Stake Ranked Episode 1: Closed Qualifier. Next week, Senzu will make his debut appearance with the international roster on LAN at BC.Game Masters Championship.
The $50,000 USD LAN in Bucharest, Romania will feature a total of 24 teams with eight "high-seed signups" starting directly in the playoffs. Sixteen teams including Senzu's Passion UA will take part in the group stage where teams are equally divided into four groups. Double-elimination GSL brackets will determine the top two from each group who head into the playoffs. A single-elimination best-of-three bracket crowns the winner.
Senzu and co. are placed in Group B alongside BESTIA, Tricked Esport and BASEMENT BOYS. The opening matches have not been announced yet. Senzu's journey with Passion UA has not been great so far. The Mongolian showcased a subpar performance at Stake Ranked Episode 1: Closed Qualifier but picked up the pace at ESL Pro League Season 23: Stage 1. He put up solid numbers in Passion UA's win against Liquid in the opening round.
Senzu then went on to top the charts on almost every map thereafter but Passion UA ended up tumbling down into the 1-2 pool where they were eventually eliminated by HEROIC.
