Alter Ego reverse sweeps The QUBE

The sixth day at the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 2 had two BO3 taking place with the upper bracket final and lower bracket final being the two matches for the day. BnTeT and PokemoN's mixed Asian team Alter Ego fought on in the lower bracket while Mongolian team BMZ kept it clean in the upper bracket.

Here's a quick look at the results from day 6 at the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 2.

BMZ make light work of FengDa

The first game of the day was the upper bracket final which saw Mongolian team BMZ take on Chinese squad FengDa for a spot in the final. A strong T side kicked off BMZ's pick of Ancient and the Mongolian team kept it flawless on their CT half to start the series with a big 13-4 win On FengDa's pick of Mirage, it was another 8-4 start from BMZ, this time on their CT side and despite a comeback attempt from the Chinese team with a couple of CT rounds, it was BMZ securing a 13-9 win to move into the final.

The loss isn't the end of the road of FengDa as they drop to the Consolidation final and will face Alter Ego.

Alter Ego reverse sweeps The QUBE out of ECL S51 APAC Cup 2

PokemoN and co. kicked off the lower bracket final against The QUBE with a back and forth affair on their pick of Overpass with Paranormal's 1.64 rating show seeing the Mongolian team steal a 16-14 win. On their opponent's pick of Ancient, it was BOROS with a couple of incredible solo-play rounds to keep Alter Ego in the half and a swift T side saw Alter Ego close things out with a 13-9 win.

The decider on Dust2 was competitive to get going with the Mongolian team's pistol and conversion seeing them lock in five CT rounds but that was about it as a near flawless defensive half from Alter Ego saw them race to a 13-6 win to reverse sweep the series 2-1.

Alter Ego will next go up against FengDa in the Consolidation final with BOROS and co. aiming to make the full lower bracket run stick while FengDa will be looking to get past Alter Ego to set up a rematch of the upper bracket final in the grand final.
