BEC Tokyo LAN details announced

BestFive returns with another Counter-Strike 2 LAN and just revealed its details on X. The LAN will run for two days starting on 30th May 2026 and feature a total of six teams. Four of these teams will receive direct invites to the main event while two slots are filled through open qualifiers. The open qualifiers will run online on 16th and 17th May 2026 and the tournament organizer has not revealed details about the format of the qualifier.

The LAN event in Tokyo will carry a prize pool of ¥120,000 YEN (~₹70,000 INR) split across the top four teams. The MVP of the tournament will receive a ZOWIE XL2586X+ 600Hz monitor which is priced around the ₹60,000 INR mark in the Indian market.

More details surrounding the open qualifier, its format and teams eligible to take part in it are yet to be revealed.
