
ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 Day 1: Recap
The opening day at ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 saw the likes of Rare Atom, TYLOO and Chinggis Warriors in action as the final chance for the teams to make it to the Asia-Pacific Finals got underway. While there was no Indian team in action, Indian players Bhavi and Ph1NNN's Arise were set to play against The Huns but forfeited their game as they day saw a couple of forfeits.

TYLOO gets a bye; Alter Ego fight past The QUBE
PokemoN's Alter Ego faced The QUBE in their opening game with Alter Ego's pick of Dust2 going their way thanks to a strong T side that helped them start with a 13-7 win. On the Monglian team's pick of Mirage, The QUBE fought back from a 4-8 deficit to push the map to overtime but it was Alter Ego holding on for a 16-14 win to take a 2-0 win.
TYLOO meanwhile started with a bye as Mongolian team Sensation forfeited their matchup against the Chinese powerhouses.

Just Swing stuns Rare Atom; Legion fall to Chinggis Warriors
Rare Atom faced compatriots Just Swing in their first game in the tournament and Summer led a stellar T side on Dust2 to help Rare Atom start with a 13-9 win. On their own pick of Anubis, Rare Atom fought back on their pick of Anubis from being 4-8 down to push it to overtime but it was Just Swing hanging on for a 16-14 win with sATOR1 and qqGOD getting their team over the line in overtime to tie up the series. On the decider on Inferno, Rare Atom started with the T pistol and conversions but it was Just Swing answering back with a strong CT half and after a back-and-forth affair, Just Swing held on for a 13-10 win with qqGOD's 26 kill performance seeing Just Swing upset their higher ranked fellow countrymen.
Pakistani team Legion faced Chinggis Warriors in their upper bracket game and despite a tied opening half on the Pakistani team's pick of Overpass, a strong T side from the Mongolians saw them home as tikuak led the fight for a 13-8 win. On Nuke, it was another 6-6 start before a back and forth affair saw Chinggis Warriors edge out with a 13-11 win thanks to a five-round CT streak.

NEXVOID smash BORING PLAYERS; Haunted House forfeits
Mongolian team NEXVOID faced BORING PLAYERS in their upper bracket game and after an incredible 13-0 start on Ancient by the Mongolians, BORING PLAYERS found some rounds on Inferno, but it was NEXVOID storming to a 2-0 win with a 13-7 victory on their map pick.
The other game in the bracket had Uzbekistan's Haunted House going up against Chinese squad Kaleido. Haunted House forfeited their game that saw Kaleido through to the next round with ease.

Arise starts with a forfeit, BMZ pulls off the reverse sweep
The final game of the day saw Mongolian team BMZ take on Chinese team BMZ. Mirage was the series opener where a back and forth affair saw Last Bullet steal a 16-14 win on their map pick. BMZ answered back with a 13-9 win on their pick of Dust2 to push the series to a decider on Ancient. A nine-round T start helped BMZ reverse sweep the series with a 13-5 win with fury5k and MagnumZ power the comeback to see BMZ take a 2-1.
The only team with Indian players in the cup, Arise, forfeited their game against The Huns, which dropped Bhavi and Ph1NNN into the lower bracket while The Huns started with a comfortable bye. With Bhavi being unavailable for the game Arise had to forfeit the game.
