Cache set for release as Valve drops confirmation teaser
Valve has teased that they will be bringing Cache to Counter-Strike 2 through a social media post on X, asking fans 'What are you doing next week?'. The video shared by Valve contained some of the best moments played on Cache. Cache was bought by Valve from its creator FMPONE.
A staple in the competitive map pool since its launch in 2014 until 2019, Cache has seen some incredible highlights on the map including s1mple's 1v2 against fnatic. For the Indian Counter-Strike community, the map hasn't been one that brings back fond memories as it was that map on which forksaken was caught cheating. Valve took out Cache from the active duty map pool back in 2019, replacing it with Vertigo.
Cache, most recently, has made its way back to the community with FACEIT bringing in the map to the matchmaking.
