Cache to join FACEIT matchmaking

FACEIT has recently announced that post the Community Vote set up by them to decide the eighth map that would join the FACEIT matchmaking map pool, it will be Cache joining the map pool. Cache beat Vertigo and Train and will join the map pool from FACEIT's upcoming Season 8.

FACEIT has announced that Cache received a total of 148,840 votes from the community and will join the FACEIT matchmaking map pool from April 22, 2026 when FACEIT's Season 8 kicks off. FACEIT has revealed that Cache will not be replacing any maps and they will have an eight map pool with Cache being an optional option for the players.

FACEIT players have the option to disable the map as well in the queues. Players, though, will need to download the map from the Steam workshop if they want to play it on FACEIT.
