Passion UA announces pro footballer as sub

The MongolZ's star rifler Senzu who was with Passion UA on loan has left the team with his tenure coming to an end. Senzu transferred over to BC.Game to play alongside s1mple while Passion UA picked up sdy off of ENCE's bench.

The international roster just announced that a professional footballer- Oleksandr Zinchenko has been registered as their substitute for the upcoming IEM Atlanta. This marks Zinchenko's second stint with Passion UA and could well be the only player from a traditional sport to sub-in for a Counter-Strike team. However, it wouldn't be Zinchenko's first big Counter-Strike outing given his previous appearance with Passion UA where the Ukrainian footballer subbed in against BLEED at YaLLa Compass Spring 2024 Contenders.

Zinchenko was also featured in a couple of showmatches where he shared the stage with some of the game's legends like markeloff and Edward. IEM Atlanta begins on 11th May 2026 with sixteen teams and a prize pool of $1,000,000 USD.
