Kirsan "byek" Ivanov has been handed a 2 year ban for account-sharing and identity-related cheating misconduct during official tournaments. ESIC states that they got evidence that the byek account was not 'controlled by a single individual, with evidence including unexplained performance and connectivity irregularities indicative of possible mid-series account hand-offs.' ESIC has handed byek a 2 year ban starting from 7 April 2026 - 6 April 2028 (inclusive).
Additionally, ESIC also stated that they had found 'integrity concerns' for matches played on June 6 and June 8, 2026 with the players failing to respond to ESIC's formal requests for information, including interrogatories and evidence preservation requirements. With the players not co-operating with ESIC, they were unable to gain player-level evidence necessary to fully assess and resolve the broader integrity concerns under investigation and has also handed one-year suspensions to the following players:
Amongst the five players handed 1-year suspensions, there is borosto, who currently plays for Arise along with Indian duo Bhavi and Ph1NNN. 1nhuman is another one who has played with the Indian players, with both Bhavi and Ph1NNN having played with him back in Gods Reign when the Russian stepped in as stand-in on a couple of occasions for the Dust2 India - 1XBET Masters tournaments. The one year ban is effective from April 7, 2026 - April 6, 2026 inclusive.
ESIC also revealed that timeagento was previously handed a 5-year ban and the combined bans will commence from March 20, 2025 and end at 11:59pm GMT on March 19, 2031. timeagento's previous ban have for admission of guilt in response to a prior Notice of Charge dated 23 April 2026, relating to conduct.
ESIC also revealed that the SENZA/-72c/ROSY squad failed to co-operate with the investigation, not providing responses to formal interrogatories, failed to produce requested materials, and did not preserve or supply relevant evidence, including information relating to roster identity, devices, communications, and its own stated internal investigation, which they failed to produce at any time. As a result of the non-co-operation, the ESIC fined SENZA for a total of $20,000.
