Perfect World announced next iteration of College Series

The tournament returns for a ninth iteration

Through a post on X, Perfect World has announced the schedule, format and other details regarding the next iteration of Perfect World National League College Series. The tournament is held twice a year and is set to host its first event of the year later this month. The Perfect World League College Series is open to only Chinese college students and rosters must field at least three players from the same college.

Open Qualifier (Stage 1)

Northern Open Qualifier: 18th -19th April
Western Open Qualifier: 18th Apr- 19th April
Southern Open Qualifier: 25th–26th April
Eastern Open Qualifier: 25th-26th April

Open Qualifier (Stage 2)

10th May
(Online) 16th–17th May

Main Event

16th–17th May (Online)
7th Jun (LAN)

The first round of qualifiers are open to all and will host single-elimination brackets. The top four teams advance to the next stage where the sixteen qualified teams lock horns in a single-elimination bracket. The top eight teams will qualify for the main event which will host the lower-final and the grand-final on LAN.

The tournament carries a prize pool of ¥23,000 CNY as the winners walks away with ¥10,000 CNY.
