ESL Pro League heads to Saudi Arabia in 2027

ESL has announced the additional for ESL Pro League Season 25. Set to take place in the first couple of weeks of March 2027, ESL Pro League Season 25 heads to a new location- Saudi Arabia. The tournament also sees an increase in the prize pool from $1,000,000 USD to $1,250,000 USD with the increase only affecting the club-share of the prize pool.

ESL Pro League was almost always held in Europe and the 25th edition of the event will mark ESL's first flagship Counter-Strike event in Saudi Arabia and also Saudi Arabia's first S-tier Counter-Strike event. The additional information published a couple days back revealed that ESL would use January 2027's VRS update to hand out invites to the 25th edition of ESL Pro League.

The tournament will feature twelve teams from the Global VRS alongside four teams from regional ESL Challenger League circuits across Asia-Pacific, Europe, North and South America. In ESL's 2027, Pro League squeezes in between IEM Krakow in January and ESL's third event in April which is yet to be unveiled.
