PGL Astana 2026 begins tomorrow with a total of sixteen teams locking horns in a Swiss system group stage. Teams with three match wins advance to the playoffs and teams with three losses exit the event. The MongolZ are the only Asian team at the event and will take on magic in their open game. magic will make their S-tier LAN debut against The MongolZ in Astana.
The new-look Falcons with karrigan at the helm will also debut at PGL Astana 2026 as a big part of the community awaits the NiKo-karrigan reunion. The Huns face an uphill climb from the get-go, taking on Spirit in their opening match. Here's how the opening round has shaped up at PGL Astana 2026:

If The MongolZ, MOUZ, Falcons or PARIVISION were to make a deep run at PGL Astana 2026, they would have just three days to reach Shanghai and setup camp for their next event- CS Asia Championships 2026.
The group stage will have two games running simultaneously with the first set starting the 10:30 AM. The top eight will qualify for the single-elimination bracket playoffs and the tournament concludes with a best-of-five grand-final on Sunday, 17th May 2026. PGL Astana 2026 carries a prize pool of $1,600,000 USD with half of it reserved as the player share.
