CS Asia Championships 2026: Preview

CAC 2026 is all set to begin tomorrow and will give teams one last chance to refine their systems, going into the IEM Cologne Major. Perfect World, the organizer behind CS Asia Championships 2026 announced the groups and opening matches a couple of weeks back as the opening round sees two games run side by side. TYLOO will take stage against MOUZ in Group A's first set of matches at 08:30 AM IST tomorrow.

However, Group A's concluding set in the first round has drawn massive anticipation. The new-look Falcons boasting the trio of NiKo, m0NESY and kyousuke under karrigan will take on BC.Game, where Senzu has just joined the team alongside s1mple and electroNic. The electrifying opening round clash will take place at 09:30 AM IST on Saturday, 20th May 2026.

Group B's matches are scheduled for the second half of the day and The MongolZ will take on Lynn Vision in their opening game at 11:30 AM IST. The MongolZ have dominated the head-to-head in recent times with Lynn Vision's last win against The MongolZ coming all the way back in 2023. The MongolZ have not dropped a single map to Lynn Vision since early 2024 but the Chinese side will come into their CS Asia Championships 2026 opening matchup off of a 11-game win streak.

CS Asia Championship 2026 opening matchups

The group stage of CS Asia Championships 2026 will run a double-elimination bracket across two groups of eight teams each. Every game after the opening round will run a BO3 setting. The group winners head to the semi-finals as the group runners-up and lower final winners start their playoffs campaign in the quarter-finals. The single-elimination playoffs bracket ends with a best-of-five grand-final on 24th May 2026. The $1,000,000 USD Chinese LAN is the last S-tier event before the Cologne Major.
