Kaleido make short work of Ground Zero to make ECL S51 APAC Finals semi-finals

A comfortable win for the Chinese squad

The opening game at the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals saw Kaleido go up against against Australian team Ground Zero. The Chinese team barely broke a sweat to pick up a comfortable 2-0 win and now moves into the semi-finals.

The series kicked off on Kaleido's pick of Mirage and it was 10 in a row on the T side to start with for Kaleido as an 11-1 T side helped them ease to a 13-2 win with suki topping the scoreboard with 19 kills and a 2.16 rating. The Australian team's pick of Dust2 saw the some fight from Ground Zero, picking up five straight T rounds once the guns came out but Kaleido closed their CT half with five in a row and a near flawless T side saw Kaleido stomp their way to a 13-6 win with chuzhongT on top of the score card with 22 kills and 2.10 rating.

Kaleido will now take on countrymen TYLOO in the semi-finals while SemperFi will take on THUNDER dOWNUNDER in the other semi-final. The winner of the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific Finals will book themselves a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 24.
