Monte announced as 12th invited team for XSE Pro League 2026

XinSai Esports, who are the tournament organisers for the upcoming XSE Pro League 2026, have revealed the 12th team for their $1,000,000 LAN event, with Monte being announced as an invited team. Monte will be in attendance in Guangzhou in July to fight for the XSE Pro League 2026 title as the tournament will see global powerhouses be present in China.

Currently ranked #21 in the world, Monte were last seen in action at PGL Astana 2026, where they had a disappointing 9-11th finish. The team will next been seen in action at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2 and with the conclusion of the Major, Monte will head to China to the XSE Pro League 2026.

With Monte being revealed as the 12th invited team for the event, four spots remain for the tournament orgnaiser will reveal the four teams on June 2, 2026 as per an announcement made to HLTV.

The tournament will run during the scheduled player break, in July 2026, post the IEM Cologne Major 2026. Monte will join the likes of Legacy, PARIVISION, FaZe, Ninjas in Pyjamas, BetBoom, 9z, B8 and 3DMAX amongst others who will be in action in Guangzhou, China.

XinSai Esports has confirmed Guangzhou as the location for the $1,000,000 LAN event. A $1,000,000 tournament, the event will see a total of 16 teams fight it out the Group Stage, which will kick off the event. The tournament will follow a Swiss BO1 format to get things going while the advancement games will be BO3 and elimination games will be BO3 as well. The Playoffs will follow a single elimination BO3 format. The tournament is set to take place between July 1 - July 12, 2026.
