Lynn Vision ease past Sharks to move closer to qualifying for Stage 2
Lynn Vision has moved a step closer to making it to Stage 2 at the ongoing IEM Cologne Major 2026 after picking up a big win against Sharks in their 1-1 bracket game at Stage 1. Lynn Vision were dominant and now moves into the 2-1 bracket and are one BO3 win away from qualifying for Stage 2.
A B hit saw Starry and Westmelon come in with doubles to hand Lynn Vision start with the pistol on Overpass. After seeing off some scary force buys and the first gun round, the Chinese team stormed to a 5-0 start before gaf0lo and koala shut down a Monster hit attempt to put up the first round on the board for the Brazilians. Stopping another B hit attempt, the Brazilians found a second and late low buy round win helped the Sharks manage to keep Lynn Vision's lead to four rounds.
Sharks managed to convert a nervy B hit to pick up their T side pistol but it was z4KR's 1v3 on the Five-Seven that saw Lynn Vision answer with the force buy. It was all Lynn Vision after that as z4KR's AWP took control with a big 3v4 retake on the A site putting Lynn Vision on match point before they converted it to a 13-5 win. z4KR ended the map with 22 kills, a 98.1 ADR and an incredible 2.11 rating.
