Report: Skyesports Masters 2024 to be held online

Dust2 India has learnt from sources close to the matter that the upcoming $350,000 LAN event - the Skyesports Masters 2024, which is set to feature teams such as Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, BIG, ENCE amongst others, is set to be held online instead of the original LAN planned.

The Masters 2024 is scheduled to be held between April 8 - April 14, 2024, but the location of the event hadn’t been disclosed. Sources have revealed that with the Indian elections set to be held around the same time, Skyesports is having difficulty to confirm a venue to the event.

The main LAN event is set to have 8 teams, 7 of whom will be international and 1 Indian team. Should the event be shifted online, this would be the second event Skyesports would’ve shifted online after an original LAN plan with last year’s Skyesports Souvenir 2023 also being initially announced as a LAN in Colombo, Sri Lanka but was eventually held online which Gods Reign had won, representing India.
