Lynn Vision, 5star locks in BLAST Premier Rising Event semi-finals berths
The semi-finalists for the BLAST Open Porto 2026 Asian qualifier event, the GGMEDIA Challenger Series 1: BLAST Premier Rising Event, has been confirmed after Lynn Vision and 5star fought their way through the quarter-finals to book themselves a spot in the final four. TYLOO and The Huns had locked in the other two semi-finals spots earlier in the day.
Here's a quick look at how the final two quarter-finals went:
Lynn Vision 2 - 0 
Ground Zero
Chinese squad Lynn Vision were up against Australia's Ground Zero in their quarter-final with Ground Zero's pick of Nuke being the opening map of the series. The Australian team did pick up the pistol on their T side to start things but there was nothing more than that as a strong CT hold saw Lynn Vision go 9-3 up before closing the series 13-4. On the Chinese team's pick of Dust2, there was more fight from Ground Zero as hazr's 17 kill half made sure Ground Zero kept Lynn Vision's lead to two. The Australian team though, were unable to get going on their T side as another stellar CT hold saw Lynn Vision close the series with a 13-8 win on Dust2.

Alter Ego
The fourth and final quarter-final saw PokemoN in action as Alter Ego went up against Mongolian team 5star. A back and forth affair on Alter Ego's pick of Mirage saw the series get underway with a spirited comeback on the T side from 5star seeing them get over the line at 13-11 with the duo of hoolig4n and clouden topping the scorecard with 24 and 23 kills each. Moving to the Mongolian team's pick of Ancient, it was a total clean sweep from BnTeT and co. as Alter Ego answered with a stunning 13-0 win to tie up the series.
Moving to the decider on Anubis, 5star returned to form as another tight affair saw the Mongolian team edge out Alter Ego 16-14 to take the series 2-1.
