Lynn Vision wins GGMEDIA Challenger Series 1; qualifies for BLAST Open Porto 2026
Lynn Vision have taken down their compatriots TYLOO in the final of the GGMEDIA Challenger Series 1: BLAST Premier Rising Event which sees them qualify for the BLAST Open Porto 2026 event. The BO3 online final saw TYLOO start with the win on the opening map and it was a reverse sweep from Lynn Vision to win the event.
Lynn Vision's force buy win on their pick of Ancient helped them negate TYLOO's CT pistol win and manage to put up five T rounds. There was nothing on the CT hold from Lynn Vision though as TYLOO stormed to a 13-6 win to start the final Zero on top of the scoreboard with 17 kills and a 1.51 rating.
Inferno kicked off with Lynn Vision pulling off a 3v3 retake on the B site and big multi-kill rounds from Westmelon and z4KR saw Lynn Vision go 7-0 up. The Tec-9s of JamYoung and Zero made an A spilt work to get TYLOO on the board and impact from Mercury late in the half helped TYLOO pick up four T rounds. JamYoung denied Westmelon a 1v2 to hand TYLOO a much needed CT pistol and post the conversions, TYLOO brought it to a one-round game. A back and forth end to Inferno saw massive impact from z4KR that helped Lynn Vision tie up the final with a 13-10 win.
A quick A hit saw TYLOO start the decider on Anubis with the T pistol but it was EmiliaQAQ and Starry with the smgs that saw Lynn Vision answer with the force. After picking up an early lead, it was a trade of rounds once the guns came out and it was Starry's 15 kill half that helped Lynn Vision take the lead at the break at 7-5.
A B spilt helped Lynn Vision pick up the second pistol on Anubis and it was one-way traffic as Starry led the charge to see Lynn Vision ease to a 13-8 win with Starry starring with 27 kills.
By winning GGMEDIA Challenger Series 1: BLAST Premier Rising Event, Lynn Vision qualifies for BLAST Open Porto 2026 as the this event served as the Asian qualifier. The BLAST Open Porto 2026 will take place between August 24, 2026 and September 6, 2026 with the event starting in the studios of Copenhagen before the LAN stage heads to Porto in Portugal. By making their way through the Asian qualifier event, Lynn Vision joins the likes of M80, Inner Circle and Sharks as those who have already confirmed their place in the BLAST Open Porto 2026 event.
