9z triumphs in China with XSE Pro League 2026 title
9z have swept PARIVISION 3-0 in the final of the XSE Pro League 2026 to win the $1,000,000 LAN event in Guangzhou, China. The South American team put in a flawless display in the finals as they gave Jame and his boys no shot at the title and it is their first notable title win at the top level. HUASOPEEK's 1.19 rating tournament saw him win the HLTV MVP award for the XSE Pro League 2026.
9z had eliminated TYLOO in the quarter-finals before taking down Alliance in the semi-finals to make the BO5 finals. PARIVISION meanwhile had a strong run through the Group Stages and took down BIG and FaZe in the Playoffs to make the finals. For PARIVISION it was their first LAN event with their new signings, HObbit and slaxejezzz.
9z's title win in Guangzhou sees them net a prize money of $260,000 which includes the club share while PARIVISION takes home a prize money of $140,000 inclusive of their club share for their second place finish. The tournament had two Asian teams, in TYLOO and Lynn Vision who finished in 5-8th place and 12-14th place respectively.
PARIVISION's pick of Mirage was the opening map of the BO5 final where luchov and dgt got 9z over the line thanks to solid CT half that saw 9z start the final with a 13-9 win. Moving to their own pick of Inferno, it was 9z instantly off the blocks as a seven round T streak saw them go 8-4 up but PARIVISION fought back on their own T side and it was HUASOPEEK and dgt's 21 and 20 performance that saw 9z take a 13-10 win.
Dust2 was a lopsided map saw meyern's AWP had PARIVISION's T side shut out with a four round lead for 9z at the break. A flawless T side saw 9z ease to a 13-4 win to close out the final with a 3-0 score line.
