Gods Reign set for ultimate test
BetBoom and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) posted big wins to secure upper-bracket semi-finals slots on Day 2 of the Skyesports Masters 2024 with the Indian representatives, Gods Reign, set to battle for survival today after being handed a proper hammering from NIP
Day 3 of the event will see ENCE take on OG and Indian team Gods Reign will lock horns with BIG in an elimination match. Gods Reign faced NIP in the opening round, conceding a devastating 0-2 defeat, only securing six rounds in the entirety of the series. Genk's yoom who stood in for rev3nnnn was India's top performer against NIP.
Gods Reign will take on BIG at 21:30PM IST and the defending champions will have to put all their might into it to stay alive in the tournament. After going up against NIP in the first round, BIG is a whole another story, with the Germans possessing a much superior lineup featuring the likes of tabseN, Krimbo and syrsoN. A loss today would eliminate Gods Reign but more than elimination the Indian team will be looking to put up a better showing against international opponents after a disappointing performance against NIP.
After an upset in the opening round, tournament favorites ENCE will look to bounce back against OG to put up a strong lower-bracket run. OG's roster have been undergoing changes frequently and are currently playing with MoDo as a stand-in. The seasoned veteran in gla1ve has the determination needed to piece together a full lower-bracket run.
